Our Verdict
Based on the provided data, Wishlist by Square is the safer choice for most merchants in 2026 due to its existing positive reviews and its promise of seamless integration and ease of use. The absence of any reviews for Smart Product Wishlist, coupled with its undifferentiated feature set relative to Wishlist by Square, makes it a riskier option. However, if a merchant specifically needs an anti-abuse feature for their wishlist, and is willing to take a chance on a new app, Smart Product Wishlist might be worth exploring, although thorough testing is crucial. Consider that the anti-abuse measure may require user account creation where Wishlist by Square does not.
