Our Verdict
Smart Suggest Pro is a targeted solution suitable for merchants who primarily want to improve product discovery through personalized recommendations and are comfortable with a focused app that may require additional apps for other sales-boosting features. Squid: Reviews, Upsells & 25+ is better suited for merchants who want a comprehensive suite of tools to increase AOV, build trust, and improve customer engagement, even if it comes with a potentially steeper learning curve due to the wide range of features. The lack of reviews for Smart Suggest Pro in 2026 makes Squid a substantially less risky choice.
