Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple, cost-effective solution for basic banner sliders using their own images and videos, SmartBN: Banner Slider provides a functional option. It allows for easy slider creation and management using embedded code. However, the lower rating and smaller number of reviews suggest that it may lack some features or have usability issues compared to alternatives.
Whatmore Shoppable Videos+Reel is the better choice for merchants who are actively using social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok and want to seamlessly integrate shoppable video content into their store. The app's automation features, focus on sales, and high rating make it a more compelling option for businesses looking to leverage video marketing to drive conversions, despite it potentially having a higher learning curve than the simplicity-focused SmartBN.
