Our Verdict
If your primary goal is to create a standalone, deeply customizable loyalty program with strong integrations into marketing automation platforms like Klaviyo, Smile is the better choice. Its focus is solely on loyalty, making it a powerful tool for rewarding customers and building brand loyalty. However, if your business model relies heavily on subscriptions, memberships, or recurring revenue streams, Subi is the clear winner. It offers a comprehensive solution that combines subscription management with loyalty features, streamlining your operations and enhancing customer retention within a single platform. For merchants who *might* add subscriptions in the future, but don't have them yet, Smile would be easier to get started with.
