Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to create instant urgency and visually demonstrate product popularity, Sold Count: Product Sale Proof is the better choice, especially for products that sell quickly. However, it has very few reviews, indicating a potential risk. For businesses prioritizing long-term trust, SEO benefits, and leveraging user-generated content, Trustify: Testimonial Reviews is the superior option, due to its higher rating, substantial number of reviews, and robust review management features. Given its higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews, Trustify is generally the safer and potentially more effective choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026.
