SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizer vs StoreSEO: AI SEO Agentfor Shopify (2026)
Choosing between SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizer and StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent in 2026 depends heavily on a merchant's specific needs and technical expertise. StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent positions itself as a comprehensive, all-in-one SEO solution, boasting a higher rating (5/5) based on significantly more reviews (520) than SpeedSize (4.9/5 with 28 reviews). StoreSEO emphasizes AI-powered optimization across various SEO aspects, including keyword research, technical SEO, and content generation, and integrates seamlessly with tools like Google Search Console and Analytics. This makes it suitable for merchants seeking a broader, more managed SEO strategy. SpeedSize, on the other hand, concentrates on image optimization, a critical aspect of page speed and SEO, potentially serving merchants focused primarily on improving site performance through image compression and alt text optimization. Given the review volume disparity, it's reasonable to assume StoreSEO has a more established presence and wider user base, providing more confidence in its capabilities and support system.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with image optimization and page speed, SpeedSize AI‑Image Optimizer could be a viable option. However, considering the significantly higher review count and comprehensive feature set, StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent appears to be the more robust and well-supported choice for the majority of Shopify merchants. If a merchant needs a full SEO solution that includes everything from keyword research to schema markup, image optimization, and integration with essential tools like Google Search Console, StoreSEO is the clear winner. Small shops looking for a simple image solution might consider SpeedSize; larger, growing stores should strongly consider StoreSEO.
Common Questions
Does SpeedSize offer technical SEO features like schema markup?
Based on the description, SpeedSize primarily focuses on image optimization and doesn't explicitly mention technical SEO features like schema markup. StoreSEO does offer these features.
Which app is better for beginners with no SEO experience?
StoreSEO's 'AI SEO Agent' positioning suggests features aimed at simplifying SEO for beginners. The level of AI assistance provided by StoreSEO in tasks such as keyword research and content optimization could be beneficial to new merchants. However, the potential complexity may also be overwhelming.
Does either app offer local SEO features?
StoreSEO explicitly mentions 'local SEO update' as part of its Technical SEO offering. SpeedSize does not mention local SEO.
Which app has better customer support?
StoreSEO explicitly mentions '24/7 expert SEO support'. SpeedSize does not specify any support details, making StoreSEO the better option for those needing assistance.
Are both apps suitable for large Shopify stores with thousands of products?
StoreSEO, with its bulk optimization features (e.g., bulk-generate AI image alt text, meta title & meta description) and comprehensive SEO suite, is likely better suited for large stores. The lower review count of SpeedSize may indicate a smaller user base and potentially less scalability.
