Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing data-driven, automated merchandising to maximize revenue and minimize manual intervention, ST: Product & Collection Sort is the superior choice. Its integration with GA4 and reliance on order history for intelligent sorting provides a significant advantage in optimizing collection performance. However, for smaller stores or those that prefer direct, hands-on control over their product catalog, Store Commander offers a valuable solution for efficient manual editing and maintaining consistency.
Ultimately, the better app depends on the merchant's operational style and priorities. A merchant who desires less work and is okay with an algorithm making most of the product sorting decisions should go with ST: Product & Collection Sort. But a merchant who wants to ensure the collection looks perfect should prefer Store Commander.
