ST: Product & Collection Sort vs Toga Aifor Shopify (2026)
ST: Product & Collection Sort and Toga Ai are Shopify apps catering to very different needs within the broader product display category. ST: Product & Collection Sort focuses on optimizing product discovery and sales through automated merchandising and intelligent sorting within collections. Its strength lies in data-driven decision-making, leveraging order history, analytics, and various product attributes to strategically present products. The app is aimed at merchants who want to automate collection management and increase revenue by optimizing the product sorting order. Toga Ai, on the other hand, is a visual content creation tool. It uses AI to transform flat product photos into model-wearing images, eliminating the need for studio photography. Its value proposition lies in easily generating high-quality visuals for marketing and product pages. The apps target different merchant types and business problems. ST: Product & Collection Sort is primarily valuable for merchants with a substantial number of products who need to optimize the shopping experience on collection pages and who have the data to support its analysis. Toga Ai is useful for apparel merchants seeking to enhance their product presentation and create visually appealing content, particularly those lacking the resources for traditional photoshoots. While both aim to improve sales, one does so through intelligent presentation (ST) while the other focuses on appealing visuals (Toga Ai). They also share the same Product Display - Other category, showing that Shopify's categorization can't always precisely describe an app's use-case.
