ST: Product & Collection Sort vs YouCam Virtual Try‑Onfor Shopify (2026)
ST: Product & Collection Sort and YouCam Virtual Try-On represent vastly different approaches to improving the Shopify shopping experience. ST: Product & Collection Sort is a collection merchandising automation tool focused on data-driven product ranking and organization within collections. It aims to increase revenue and reduce manual work for store owners by using analytics, rule-based sorting, and features like product demotion and pinning. Its strength lies in its ability to leverage order data, product attributes, and even Google Analytics data to optimize product visibility and drive sales through optimized collections. Our Verdict
The choice between these apps depends entirely on the type of products sold and the priorities of the merchant. If a merchant sells makeup or eyewear, and their primary goal is to enhance the customer experience and reduce returns by allowing virtual try-ons, then YouCam Virtual Try-On, despite its low rating, might be worth considering *if* its AR technology is compelling and the integration is truly simple. The low rating, however, is a significant red flag that warrants thorough investigation.
However, for merchants selling a wide range of products and looking to optimize their collection pages based on data to increase revenue and reduce manual work, ST: Product & Collection Sort is the clear choice, given its high rating and focus on data-driven merchandising. Its features offer a powerful way to automate and improve product visibility based on key metrics.
