Stay AI Subscriptions App vs Subi: Subscriptions & Loyaltyfor Shopify (2026)
Stay AI Subscriptions App and Subi: Subscriptions & Loyalty both cater to Shopify merchants looking to implement subscription models. However, they appear to target slightly different segments. Stay AI, with its perfect 5-star rating, may appeal to merchants prioritizing simplicity and potentially AI-driven features (implied by the name), though the limited review count suggests a smaller user base or newer entry into the market. Subi, on the other hand, positions itself as an all-in-one solution encompassing not only subscriptions but also loyalty programs, memberships, and bundled boxes, making it attractive to merchants seeking a comprehensive customer retention strategy. Subi's strength lies in its breadth of features and significantly higher review count, indicating greater market penetration and established use. The detailed description highlights key features like a self-service portal, flexible membership tiers, and loyalty programs, suggesting a focus on customer engagement and increased average order value (AOV). While Stay AI might offer a simpler, potentially more AI-powered subscription solution, Subi seems tailored for businesses wanting a robust platform for building long-term customer relationships through diverse retention strategies.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily focused on simple subscription management and potentially interested in AI-driven features, Stay AI Subscriptions App might be a suitable choice, especially if ease of use and a streamlined interface are priorities. However, the relatively low review count suggests less real-world testing.
Subi: Subscriptions & Loyalty is a stronger option for businesses seeking a more comprehensive solution encompassing subscriptions, loyalty programs, and membership options. The higher review count and detailed feature list indicate a well-established and robust platform designed to build long-term customer relationships and increase AOV. If a merchant wants a full-featured suite for customer retention, Subi is likely the better choice.
