Steppun Discount vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
Steppun Discount and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator both address discount strategies on Shopify, but cater to different merchant needs and technical expertise. Steppun Discount focuses on providing an easy-to-use interface for creating quantity or amount-limited discounts. Its core strength lies in its user-friendly approach, enabling merchants to control profit margins through customizable discount rules based on product, customer tags, or schedule. It is targeted towards merchants looking for a straightforward solution to manage discounts without requiring coding knowledge. SupaEasy, on the other hand, targets Shopify Plus merchants and those seeking advanced customization via Shopify Functions, particularly in light of the script editor's deprecation. SupaEasy's primary value proposition is its AI-powered function generation for discounts, payments, delivery, and validation, allowing merchants to deeply customize their checkout experience. While it boasts a higher rating and a significantly larger number of reviews, suggesting greater user adoption, its complexity might be a barrier for merchants seeking a simple discount solution. SupaEasy is for those comfortable with a more technical approach and desiring complete control over their checkout functionalities through custom functions.
