steve | Fulfillment for Europe vs Zippyyfor Shopify (2026)
steve | Fulfillment for Europe and Zippyy both aim to simplify order fulfillment for Shopify merchants, but they cater to distinct needs. Steve focuses on providing an all-in-one, eco-conscious, and ethically-minded fulfillment solution specifically for the European market. They handle everything from packaging to carrier selection, emphasizing sustainable practices and a positive work environment for their employees. Their key strength lies in its localized focus and hands-off approach for merchants targeting European customers who value speed, sustainability and streamlined integrations. Zippyy, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive shipping automation tool that integrates with multiple global carriers. It emphasizes rate comparison, label generation, and streamlined tracking across a broader geographical scope, including USPS, UPS, and DHL. While steve is more of a closed ecosystem designed for seamless European fulfillment, Zippyy offers more flexibility in carrier selection and customization, appealing to merchants who prioritize cost optimization and control over their shipping processes worldwide. The main difference is that steve handles the fulfillment, and Zippyy handles the shipping process while the fulfillment will be done elsewhere (e.g. in the merchant's warehouse).

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily targeting the European market and valuing sustainable and ethical fulfillment, steve | Fulfillment for Europe is the clear choice. Its all-in-one solution handles everything from packaging to shipping with a focus on speed, sustainability and a happy workforce. For merchants with a broader global customer base, or those prioritizing cost optimization and control over their shipping processes, Zippyy offers a more flexible and customizable solution. Zippyy's integration with multiple carriers and rate comparison features make it ideal for those who want to actively manage their shipping costs and carrier selection.
Due to the small number of reviews for both apps, merchants should consider trialing both to see which aligns best with their specific business needs and priorities. However, Steve is the better choice if you wish to outsource the fulfilment process with the environment in mind, while Zippyy is a better choice if you only want to optimize shipping labels and tracking from a warehouse.
