Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) vs Zapiet ‑ Rates by Zip Codefor Shopify (2026)
Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) and Zapiet ‑ Rates by Zip Code both cater to Shopify merchants looking to optimize their delivery and pickup options, but they address different core needs. Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) focuses on scheduling and managing local fulfillment, providing tools for setting pickup/delivery rules, time slots, and location-based restrictions, particularly catering to restaurants. Zapiet ‑ Rates by Zip Code, on the other hand, is primarily concerned with accurate delivery and shipping rate calculation based on location, aiming to prevent financial losses due to incorrect pricing, especially for UK & Canadian stores. Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) appears to be a comprehensive solution for merchants who want granular control over their local pickup and delivery logistics, while Zapiet ‑ Rates by Zip Code offers a more targeted solution for merchants struggling with accurate shipping cost calculations. Though both apps are related to delivery, one focuses on scheduling and the other on pricing. Zapiet emphasizes integration with their own pickup and delivery app, suggesting it might be more integrated as part of a suite of solutions. A key difference is the target audience: restaurants are specifically mentioned in the description of Store Pickup + Delivery (CR), while Zapiet is geared towards stores needing location-based rate accuracy.

Our Verdict
For restaurants or businesses prioritizing a robust local pickup and delivery system with detailed scheduling, Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) is the clear choice. The ability to set minimum pickup days, preparation time, blackout dates, and limit orders per time slot are crucial features for managing a complex local fulfillment operation. The higher rating and larger number of reviews further suggest a proven track record.
However, if the primary concern is ensuring accurate shipping and delivery rates based on location, especially for businesses in the UK or Canada, Zapiet ‑ Rates by Zip Code is the more suitable option. Its focus on zip code-based rate calculation and tiered pricing rules makes it ideal for merchants who need to account for varying shipping costs across different regions. While the rating is slightly lower and the review count is smaller, its specialized focus makes it the better tool for this specific task. Merchants might also consider using both apps in conjunction: Zapiet to handle accurate rate calculation, and Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) to manage the logistics of the actual pickup or delivery.
