Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing efficient data management, particularly those dealing with frequent inventory updates or migrations, StoreRobo Import Export Suite provides a targeted solution. However, the lower rating and significantly fewer reviews compared to Zigpoll might be a point of concern. Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the superior choice for merchants actively seeking to understand their customers better, improve user experience, and optimize their marketing strategies through direct feedback. Its high rating and large number of reviews indicate strong customer satisfaction. A merchant might realistically use both apps if they have both data migration needs and a strong desire to collect customer feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for non-technical users?
Zigpoll likely offers a simpler setup process, as it emphasizes no-code integration and customer survey design. StoreRobo's data mapping and potential FTP/SFTP configuration might require more technical expertise.
Does StoreRobo support importing from other ecommerce platforms besides WooCommerce?
The provided information only mentions WooCommerce API for product import. Check their website to confirm all supported platforms.
Can Zigpoll integrate with marketing automation platforms?
The description mentions seamless integrations with Shopify and your marketing stack. Consult their documentation or contact Zigpoll directly to confirm compatibility with specific platforms.
Which app offers better value for money for a small store with limited resources?
Zigpoll's ability to directly impact sales and marketing by improving conversion rates could offer a higher return on investment for a small store, provided they actively leverage the insights gained. StoreRobo's value proposition is tied to handling bulk data, which might be less relevant for smaller stores.
Which app is more future-proof in terms of feature development?
It's impossible to predict the future, but the number of reviews and higher rating for Zigpoll may indicate more active development and focus on improvements and new features. StoreRobo will likely continue to focus on data import/export but may be less responsive to new trends.
