StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent vs Thryvfor Shopify (2026)
StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent and Thryv are both listed under the 'Content' category on Shopify, but they serve vastly different purposes. StoreSEO is a comprehensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tool designed to improve a store's ranking on search engines like Google, ChatGPT, and Gemini. It utilizes AI to optimize various aspects of a store's online presence, from keyword research and image alt text generation to schema markup and technical SEO improvements. Its target audience is merchants seeking to increase organic traffic and sales through improved search engine visibility. Thryv, on the other hand, focuses on customer relationship management and financial transactions. It enables merchants to create estimates, generate invoices, accept payments, and manage customer interactions within a single platform. Its strength lies in simplifying the invoicing process and contact management. It's aimed at Shopify merchants who need a system to manage customer relationships and payments effectively, and who may already be familiar with the Thryv ecosystem outside of Shopify.

Our Verdict
StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent is the clear choice for merchants who are heavily focused on improving their search engine rankings and driving organic traffic to their Shopify store. Its comprehensive suite of AI-powered SEO tools, coupled with support, offers significant value for businesses looking to invest in long-term SEO growth. However, merchants should be prepared for a potentially steeper learning curve given the breadth of features.
Thryv is a more appropriate solution for merchants who prioritize streamlining their invoicing process, payment management, and customer communication. While it doesn't offer any SEO benefits, it provides a valuable set of tools for managing customer relationships and financial transactions within the Shopify ecosystem. Given the complete absence of reviews, merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly investigate the app's functionality and reliability before committing to it.
