Our Verdict
For merchants whose business model revolves around subscriptions, memberships, or offering recurring products, Subi is the clear winner. It offers a complete solution for managing recurring revenue and building long-term customer loyalty. However, for businesses that primarily sell individual products and want to improve conversion rates by enabling customers to easily track and purchase desired items, Swish is the better choice. It's also ideal for businesses looking to gain deeper insights into customer preferences through wishlist data.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Swish likely has a quicker and easier initial setup due to its singular focus on wishlists and the offer of free customisation. Subi, with its broader range of features (subscriptions, memberships, loyalty programs), may require more configuration to fully utilize.
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially. A merchant could use Swish to increase conversion and then use Subi to encourage those new customers to subscribe to recurring products or services. However, the cost of both apps and the management of two separate systems should be considered.
Which app is better for a dropshipping business?
Swish is likely the better option for a dropshipping business. Dropshipping often focuses on selling individual products rather than subscriptions, so a wishlist app that drives conversions is more relevant.
Does Subi offer the same level of integration with marketing platforms like Klaviyo and Meta as Swish?
The provided information does not specifically mention Subi's integration with Klaviyo or Meta. Swish explicitly states these integrations are available out-of-the-box.
Which app provides better long-term value?
Subi provides a more sustainable long-term value for businesses with a subscription or membership model, as it helps generate recurring revenue and fosters customer loyalty. Swish offers value by boosting short-term sales and providing customer insights, making it more appropriate for businesses focused on quick customer acquisition.
