Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a highly customizable and automated fraud prevention system that analyzes various order characteristics and integrates with existing workflows, Subuno is the better choice. Its rules-based approach, coupled with advanced data analytics and numerous manual review tools, provides a comprehensive fraud detection solution. However, for merchants specifically concerned about verifying customer identity and payment details directly, especially in high-risk scenarios, Zumigo DeRiskify OrderRisk offers a focused solution through SMS validation and credit bureau data.
Ultimately, the best app depends on the specific needs and risk profile of the merchant. Merchants dealing with a higher volume of orders might benefit from the automation of Subuno, while those encountering specific identity-related fraud issues could find Zumigo DeRiskify OrderRisk more effective. More reviews and a more defined feature set at the time of analysis give Subuno a slight advantage, but identity verification is a growing trend that Zumigo's approach may well address better over time.
