SubVerse: AI Sales & Support vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
SubVerse: AI Sales & Support and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator are both Shopify apps aiming to enhance workflow automation, but they target drastically different aspects of an e-commerce business and employ AI in distinct ways. SubVerse focuses on leveraging AI-powered voice agents to automate sales and customer support, aiming to recapture missed leads and personalize customer interactions. SupaEasy, conversely, concentrates on enabling merchants to generate and migrate Shopify Functions (replacing deprecated Scripts) for customizations related to discounts, delivery, payments, and validation. The primary difference lies in their application. SubVerse directly interacts with customers through AI voice calls, while SupaEasy provides AI-assisted tools for developers or advanced merchants to customize the Shopify checkout experience. SubVerse's promise of 'instant setup, no coding' is targeted at merchants who want immediate improvements in customer engagement, whereas SupaEasy caters to those requiring complex checkout logic modification, now using Functions instead of Scripts. SupaEasy's win at Shopify Editions.dev further validates its functionality for advanced Shopify merchants, particularly those on Shopify Plus needing script migration.

Our Verdict
SupaEasy is the clear recommendation for Shopify Plus merchants, or any merchant seeking to customize their checkout experience via Shopify Functions and migrate away from deprecated scripts. Its high rating and numerous reviews suggest it effectively addresses a critical need. The 'ShopTank winner' badge and focus on Functions for discounts, delivery, and payment validation further solidify its value proposition for advanced stores.
SubVerse, while promising, currently lacks any user reviews or ratings, making it difficult to assess its reliability. If a merchant is looking for an immediate solution to handle missed calls and abandoned carts via AI-powered voice agents, they could consider trialing SubVerse, but the lack of social proof introduces risk. SupaEasy provides clear demonstrable value that SubVerse has yet to prove.
