SupaEasy: AI Functions creator vs Syncmatic Segments on Facebookfor Shopify (2026)
SupaEasy: AI Functions creator and Syncmatic Segments on Facebook both aim to enhance Shopify workflows, but target fundamentally different areas of a merchant's operations. SupaEasy focuses on checkout customization and automation, directly addressing the deprecation of Shopify Scripts with an AI-powered function generator for discounts, delivery, payments, and validation. This positions it as a tool for merchants seeking granular control over their checkout experience, especially those migrating from Scripts or requiring advanced, code-free customization. Syncmatic Segments on Facebook, on the other hand, appears to focus on marketing automation and advertising optimization through Facebook integration. While limited information is provided about Syncmatic, its name suggests functionality related to creating and synchronizing customer segments for targeted Facebook ad campaigns. Given the limited data, it's difficult to precisely assess its features, but its emphasis is likely on streamlining advertising efforts rather than the core checkout process which is the focus of SupaEasy. Therefore, the selection between these apps depends entirely on whether a merchant needs checkout functions or Facebook advertising segmentation.

Our Verdict
The choice between SupaEasy and Syncmatic Segments on Facebook is highly dependent on the merchant's needs. SupaEasy is clearly superior for merchants who need to customize their checkout experience, especially those dealing with the upcoming Script deprecation. Its AI-powered function generator and focus on discounts, shipping, payments, and validation provide significant value to Shopify Plus users and others looking for advanced checkout features without coding.
Syncmatic Segments on Facebook, while potentially useful for merchants focused on Facebook advertising, suffers from a lack of available information. Its limited number of reviews also suggests it's a newer or less widely adopted app. Unless a merchant's primary goal is to streamline Facebook advertising audience segmentation, SupaEasy appears to be the stronger choice given its detailed feature set, positive user reviews, and industry recognition.
Common Questions
What problem does SupaEasy solve that Syncmatic Segments on Facebook doesn't?
SupaEasy directly addresses the deprecation of Shopify Scripts, offering an easy way to migrate and create new checkout customization functions. Syncmatic Segments on Facebook focuses on Facebook audience segmentation, and therefore doesn't address the technical challenge of moving from the deprecated Shopify Scripts to Functions.
Is SupaEasy only for Shopify Plus merchants?
No, SupaEasy is designed for all Shopify plans and merchants, especially those who may have previously used Shopify Scripts. While Shopify Plus merchants may find advanced features particularly useful, the app is intended for broader use.
What if I need *both* checkout customization and Facebook audience segmentation?
In that case, you would need both apps. SupaEasy focuses on the checkout experience, while Syncmatic (potentially) provides tools for Facebook advertising. They address different aspects of your business.
How does SupaEasy's AI assistant work?
According to the description, the AI assistant allows you to describe the function you need in a text field, and it will generate the function code for you. This removes the need for manual coding.
Does the small number of reviews for Syncmatic Segments on Facebook necessarily mean it is a bad app?
Not necessarily. It could indicate it's a newer app, caters to a very specific niche, or simply hasn't been widely promoted. However, with fewer reviews, it is harder to assess its reliability and overall user satisfaction compared to SupaEasy.
