Our Verdict
For Shopify Plus merchants or those seeking advanced checkout customization features like discount logic or payment gateway integrations without coding, SupaEasy: AI Functions creator is the clear choice. The AI assistance and script migration tool provide significant value. However, for merchants struggling with the burden of manually forwarding email notifications for order events and needing granular control over who receives which notifications based on product/tag criteria, Taglio Events provides a simpler, more targeted solution. Given the lack of reviews for Taglio Events, exercise caution and perhaps explore alternative email automation solutions with established user feedback before committing.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a store with many abandoned carts?
Neither app directly addresses abandoned cart recovery. SupaEasy might help customize discounts to encourage purchase completion at checkout, but Taglio Events focuses on order and fulfillment notifications, not cart abandonment.
Does either app integrate with Klaviyo?
The provided descriptions do not mention Klaviyo integration for either app. Taglio Events allows using your own SMTP server or choosing from various email providers, which could include services that integrate with Klaviyo.
Which app is easier to set up?
Taglio Events likely has a simpler initial setup, focusing on event triggers and email recipients. SupaEasy, while offering AI assistance, involves understanding Shopify Functions and potentially migrating existing scripts, making the initial setup more complex.
Can SupaEasy replace my current shipping apps?
SupaEasy can generate shipping functions to customize delivery options or costs, but it likely won't replace a dedicated shipping app that handles carrier integrations, label printing, and tracking. It's meant for customization, not full shipping management.
Is Taglio Events only useful for large stores?
No, Taglio Events can benefit any store that experiences a significant volume of order and fulfillment events, regardless of size, if manually forwarding emails is a time-consuming task.
