SupaEasy: AI Functions creator vs WhatFlow‑WhatsApp Automationfor Shopify (2026)
SupaEasy: AI Functions creator and WhatFlow-WhatsApp Automation both operate within the 'Operations' and 'Workflow Automation' categories on the Shopify app store, but they address fundamentally different needs. SupaEasy focuses on enabling merchants to customize their checkout experience without coding, leveraging AI to generate discount, payment, delivery, and validation functions. This is particularly relevant given the impending deprecation of Shopify Scripts, providing a migration path and advanced feature set for both Shopify Plus and standard Shopify merchants. SupaEasy's primary strength lies in its ability to democratize checkout customization, evidenced by its ShopTank win at Editions 25. WhatFlow-WhatsApp Automation, on the other hand, facilitates customer communication and automation through WhatsApp. While specific features aren't provided, it's designed to streamline workflows related to customer engagement, support, and possibly marketing. While SupaEasy aims for ease of customization for checkout functions, WhatFlow focuses on automation of customer interaction via WhatsApp. The choice between them hinges on whether the merchant's priority is advanced checkout customization or enhanced customer communication through WhatsApp.
