Super Local Delivery vs Trackable ‑ Order Statusfor Shopify (2026)
Super Local Delivery and Trackable ‑ Order Status, while both listed under 'Order tracking' in the Shopify app store, cater to drastically different merchant needs and workflows. Super Local Delivery (SLD) is a comprehensive solution designed for merchants managing their own local delivery fleet, focusing on route optimization, driver management, and customer communication throughout the delivery process. It offers features like bulk route planning, a driver mobile app, and live order tracking, making it ideal for businesses handling same-day or express deliveries with a dedicated delivery team. Trackable ‑ Order Status, on the other hand, is a simpler app primarily aimed at reducing customer support inquiries by providing customers with an easy way to view their order summary and tracking information. It integrates with Shopify-supported carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Canada Post) and requires minimal setup. This makes it suitable for merchants primarily relying on established shipping carriers and aiming to improve customer self-service and reduce support overhead. The key difference lies in SLD focusing on complete local delivery management, whereas Trackable focuses on order status visibility for orders shipped via major carriers.
