Swish (formerly Wishlist King) vs WA Wishlistfor Shopify (2026)
Swish (formerly Wishlist King) and WA Wishlist both aim to boost sales by enabling customers to save favorite items. However, they cater to different segments of the Shopify market. Swish, boasting a perfect 5-star rating from 273 reviews, positions itself as a premium, feature-rich solution with an emphasis on customization, integration, and advanced analytics. Its rebranding suggests a focus on ambitious brands seeking comprehensive wishlist functionality and robust marketing integrations. The free setup and customization service further emphasizes a high-touch, value-added approach. WA Wishlist, on the other hand, seems to be geared towards simplicity and accessibility, evidenced by its ability to cater to guest users and allowing customization of its theme. WA Wishlist focuses on the foundational aspects of a wishlist, providing the core functionality of saving favorite items and tracking popular products. It aims to provide these features, while allowing a degree of customization. It offers the ability to disable certain features, suggesting a simple setup. Swish's strength lies in its extensive feature set, integrations with platforms like Klaviyo, GA4, and Meta, and its proactive support, including free setup. However, this comes at the potential cost of increased complexity and possibly higher pricing (implied but not stated). WA Wishlist is the new option, indicated by its 0 reviews. It may be a work in progress. In 2026, the choice between Swish and WA Wishlist hinges on the merchant's needs and technical capabilities. Swish is suitable for merchants who need a comprehensive solution with advanced features and are willing to invest in personalized support and customization. WA Wishlist would likely be better for small merchants or those seeking a simple, easy-to-implement solution with basic wishlist functionality.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing a comprehensive, feature-rich wishlist solution with robust integrations and willing to invest in setup and support, Swish (formerly Wishlist King) is the clear choice. Its proven track record (reflected in its high rating and numerous reviews) and focus on advanced analytics make it suitable for businesses with sophisticated marketing strategies. The free setup and customization service also provide added value.
WA Wishlist, conversely, is more appropriate for merchants seeking a simple, easy-to-implement wishlist solution, particularly those who want to cater to guest users or need a highly customizable theme. It's a better fit for smaller businesses or those who prioritize core wishlist functionality over advanced features. The lack of reviews and 0/5 rating do imply that it may need more refinement or lack of established user support.
