Swish (formerly Wishlist King) vs Wishlist & B2B Project Plannerfor Shopify (2026)
Swish (formerly Wishlist King) and Wishlist & B2B Project Planner both offer wishlist functionality for Shopify stores, but cater to distinctly different needs. Swish is positioned as a comprehensive, feature-rich wishlist solution designed to enhance customer engagement and drive conversions for general e-commerce businesses. It emphasizes customization, seamless integration, and advanced analytics. Wishlist & B2B Project Planner, on the other hand, is specifically targeted toward B2B or wholesale scenarios and complex purchasing processes, acting more as a project planning tool centered around product wishlists. The key differentiator lies in the target audience and primary function. Swish focuses on a standard wishlist experience with features like personalized notifications and integration with marketing tools like Klaviyo. It aims to boost sales through increased customer engagement. Wishlist & B2B Project Planner prioritizes streamlining large or complex purchases, enabling customers to group and manage products for projects, request quotes, and facilitates draft order creation for merchants. Its focus is on simplifying B2B sales rather than general e-commerce sales boosts.

Our Verdict
For general e-commerce stores looking to increase sales and customer engagement through a standard wishlist experience, Swish (formerly Wishlist King) is the clear winner. Its higher review count and emphasis on integrations and analytics make it a more robust and reliable choice. The free setup and customization service also adds significant value for merchants who want a seamless integration into their existing store.
Wishlist & B2B Project Planner is ideal for B2B businesses, wholesale retailers, or those selling products commonly used in projects (e.g., furniture, home decor, construction materials). Its features are tailored to facilitate large or complex purchases and simplify the ordering process for both customers and merchants. While it lacks the extensive social proof of Swish, its specialized functionality outweighs that concern for its specific target audience.
