Swym Gift Lists and Registries vs WC Wishlist Clubfor Shopify (2026)
Swym Gift Lists and Registries and WC Wishlist Club both offer wishlist functionality, falling under Shopify's Customer Loyalty and Wishlists categories. However, they appear to target slightly different merchant needs. Swym Gift Lists and Registries is positioned more strongly as a comprehensive gift registry solution, explicitly mentioning baby and wedding registries, and focusing on shareable lists for special occasions like Christmas and other holidays. A key differentiator is its emphasis on gift tracking, personalized thank-you notes, and potentially unifying online and retail stores with POS integration. WC Wishlist Club, while highly rated, lacks a detailed description, making it challenging to fully assess its capabilities beyond basic wishlist functionality. The difference in review volume suggests WC Wishlist Club may have a broader user base. The limited information about WC Wishlist Club in the provided descriptions makes it difficult to draw more specific conclusions. Swym Gift Lists and Registries' detailed feature set may be attractive to merchants seeking a more robust registry solution.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily interested in simple wishlist functionality, WC Wishlist Club's higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest it may be a reliable choice, assuming it meets their basic needs. Its simplicity might be a strength for some. However, for stores specifically targeting gift registries (wedding, baby, Christmas) and requiring advanced features like gift tracking, thank-you notes, and POS integration, Swym Gift Lists and Registries appears to be the better option. The ability to customize the app to match the store's branding and offer discounts to gifters adds further value for merchants focused on driving sales through gift registries. The unknown aspects of WC Wishlist Club make a direct comparison more challenging, therefore if a merchant is looking for feature parity with Swym, that makes the choice easier.
