Synctrack PayPal Tracking Sync vs WhatHub – Order Automationfor Shopify (2026)
Synctrack PayPal Tracking Sync and WhatHub – Order Automation are both Shopify apps designed to streamline workflows, but they address very different pain points. Synctrack focuses on optimizing payment processing by automatically syncing tracking information to PayPal and Stripe, aiming to accelerate fund access and reduce disputes. Its target audience is merchants heavily reliant on PayPal and Stripe who want to improve their cash flow and maintain good standing with these payment platforms. In contrast, WhatHub emphasizes post-purchase customer communication through WhatsApp, automating order confirmations, fulfillment updates, and abandoned cart reminders. WhatHub's core value proposition lies in enhancing customer engagement and reducing support inquiries by providing timely and personalized updates via WhatsApp. This app appeals to merchants who prioritize direct customer interaction and want to leverage WhatsApp as a communication channel to improve customer satisfaction and potentially recover lost sales from abandoned carts. The difference lies in the core function: Synctrack is about automating back-end payment processes, while WhatHub is about automating front-end customer communication.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing their payment processing and reducing risks associated with PayPal and Stripe, Synctrack PayPal Tracking Sync is the clear choice. Its established track record (indicated by the high number of reviews) and focus on back-end automation make it a valuable tool for managing cash flow and maintaining compliance. On the other hand, if a merchant prioritizes customer communication and engagement, particularly through WhatsApp, WhatHub – Order Automation offers a compelling solution. It's ideal for businesses aiming to build stronger customer relationships and improve post-purchase experiences, especially in regions where WhatsApp is a primary communication channel. However, the very low number of reviews for WhatHub should give prospective users pause; further research is warranted.
