Our Verdict
If you're managing multiple Shopify stores and struggling to keep inventory, product information, and orders synchronized, Synkro: Inventory Sync is the clear choice. Its real-time syncing, cloning features, and price rule automation are essential for multi-store operations. However, if your focus is on improving the customer experience after a purchase and potentially driving repeat business through product promotions, TrackOrder - Tracking & Sync offers a valuable solution with its branded tracking pages and product recommendation features.
While both apps share the 'Inventory sync' category on Shopify, their practical applications are quite different. TrackOrder's order syncing with payment gateways is useful, but doesn't offer the comprehensive inventory management Synkro does. The limited number of reviews for TrackOrder compared to Synkro also suggests it's a newer app or has a smaller user base, which might influence a merchant's decision given the importance of reliability in inventory management.
