Our Verdict
Based on the available information, WAX: marketing on WhatsApp is the clearly superior choice for Shopify merchants in 2026. Its high rating, substantial number of positive reviews, and clearly defined feature set centered around WhatsApp marketing make it a more reliable and potentially effective solution. WAX is particularly well-suited for merchants who want to leverage the high engagement rates of WhatsApp to recover abandoned carts, send back-in-stock alerts, and re-engage customers.
Tailwind Marketing's low rating and lack of user feedback raise serious concerns. Unless there is compelling evidence to suggest otherwise, it's difficult to recommend it over WAX.
