T&C Check box by GStech vs Terms and Conditions Terms:Profor Shopify (2026)
T&C Check box by GStech and Terms and Conditions Terms:Pro are both Shopify apps designed to add terms and conditions acceptance mechanisms to your store, fitting into the Legal category. However, they differ significantly in their features, scope, and user reception. T&C Check box by GStech focuses solely on providing a simple checkbox before checkout, linking to your terms and conditions page. Terms and Conditions Terms:Pro, on the other hand, offers a more comprehensive suite of features, including support for different pages (Product, Cart, Checkout), express checkout compatibility, and display options like inline checkboxes or popups, along with storing consent data for compliance. The key distinction lies in the breadth of functionality. T&C Check box by GStech targets merchants seeking a basic and straightforward solution for adding a terms and conditions checkbox to the checkout process. Terms and Conditions Terms:Pro caters to merchants requiring more advanced customization options, legal compliance features (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD), and broader placement of consent requests across their store. The large difference in reviews (0 vs 6) and rating (0/5 vs 5/5) also suggests that Terms and Conditions Terms:Pro is a more mature and well-received app.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a bare-bones, quickly implemented terms and conditions checkbox exclusively at the checkout, T&C Check box by GStech might seem appealing due to its simplicity. However, the lack of reviews and zero rating should be a significant concern.
Terms and Conditions Terms:Pro offers a much more robust and legally sound solution. Its higher rating, positive reviews, and broader feature set make it a better choice for most Shopify merchants, especially those concerned about legal compliance or desiring placement flexibility and customization. Even if you only need a simple checkbox now, Terms and Conditions Terms:Pro offers room to grow and adapt your terms and conditions strategy in the future.
