Tible Block and redirect vs Traffic Policefor Shopify (2026)
Tible Block and redirect and Traffic Police are both Shopify apps in the Geolocation category designed to control website traffic, but they take different approaches. Traffic Police focuses heavily on security and compliance, offering features to block malicious traffic by location and protect content through anti-theft measures and GDPR compliance via a cookie bar. Tible Block and redirect, on the other hand, appears to be more generalized, allowing merchants to create custom rules based on a wider range of conditions beyond just location, including URL or other varying conditions, to block, redirect, or display custom messages to visitors. The user feedback starkly contrasts between the two; Traffic Police boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 8 reviews, suggesting positive user experiences, while Tible Block and redirect has no reviews and thus no rating, presenting a significant risk. Tible Block and redirect's generalized approach targets businesses needing highly customized traffic control based on diverse visitor attributes, whereas Traffic Police appeals to those prioritizing security, geo-targeting and GDPR compliance.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Traffic Police appears to be the safer and more reliable choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its perfect rating and existing user reviews provide evidence of its functionality and effectiveness in blocking malicious traffic and implementing geo-redirection. Its GDPR compliance features are also a significant advantage. Tible Block and redirect *could* be a viable option for merchants with *very* specific and complex traffic control needs that go beyond basic geo-targeting and security. However, the lack of reviews makes it difficult to assess its usability and effectiveness. Merchants considering Tible Block and redirect should proceed with extreme caution and be prepared to thoroughly test its functionality. For the majority, Traffic Police likely offers a more robust and trustworthy solution.
