TP: True Profit Analytics vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
TP: True Profit Analytics and Zigpoll Customer Surveys represent two distinct approaches to improving a Shopify merchant's business. True Profit focuses on financial analytics, providing real-time net profit tracking, automated cost analysis, and marketing attribution insights. It aims to eliminate manual spreadsheet tracking and offer a clear understanding of profitability. Zigpoll, on the other hand, centers on customer feedback, enabling merchants to gather valuable insights through surveys delivered at various touchpoints like post-purchase or during abandoned checkout. It leverages AI analytics to interpret survey data and improve marketing spend and conversion rates. The core difference lies in their focus: True Profit is finance-centric, targeting merchants seeking deep financial control and profit optimization, while Zigpoll is customer-centric, helping merchants understand customer needs and improve the overall customer experience. Both apps fall under the broad categories of Operations and Analytics within the Shopify ecosystem, but they address very different pain points. True Profit offers a quantifiable, data-driven approach to net profit, while Zigpoll takes a qualitative approach to understanding customer sentiment. This difference means that they cater to distinct merchant needs, and potentially different stages of business growth.
