Treo · Auction Plus vs Wholesale Pricing Now: B2Bfor Shopify (2026)
Treo · Auction Plus and Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B are both Shopify apps listed under the 'Pricing' and 'Pricing quotes' categories, but they cater to vastly different business models. Treo · Auction Plus focuses on customer engagement and revenue maximization through auction-style selling and 'Make an Offer' features, positioning itself as a tool for stores with unique products looking to generate buzz and negotiate directly with customers. Conversely, Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B provides a comprehensive solution for managing wholesale pricing directly within an existing Shopify store, offering features like tiered discounts, custom pricing, and net payment terms for B2B customers. The primary distinction lies in their target audiences and core functionalities. Treo · Auction Plus is designed for retailers aiming to create excitement and potentially increase revenue on individual product sales through competitive bidding. Its value proposition centers on maximizing revenue for unique items and fostering customer engagement. Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B targets businesses that sell wholesale, offering tools to streamline B2B operations, such as bulk discounts, tax exemptions, and order forms. The app aims to simplify wholesale management without requiring a separate store or duplicate product listings. The rating and number of reviews also point to the Wholesale Pricing app having greater user adoption and more established features.

Our Verdict
For retailers focused on selling unique or high-value products and creating a dynamic, engaging shopping experience through auctions and direct negotiations, Treo · Auction Plus is the more suitable choice. The app's focus on customer interaction and automated bidding features could lead to increased revenue and brand visibility.
However, for businesses primarily focused on wholesale operations, managing B2B clients, and offering tiered or custom pricing to encourage bulk purchases, Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B is the clear winner. Its robust B2B-centric features, like net payment terms, custom pricing rules, and streamlined order forms, address the specific needs of wholesale businesses. The significantly higher number of reviews also suggests a more mature and widely adopted solution for wholesale management.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without hands-on experience, it is impossible to say definitively, but Treo · Auction Plus claims "no coding required" which suggests it's very simple. However, the increased number of reviews for Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B suggests the set up is common and therefore likely not overly complex.
Can both apps be used simultaneously?
Potentially, but it's unlikely to be ideal. Auction Plus focuses on individual items while Wholesale Pricing targets bulk orders. Their purposes are quite distinct, and the conflict may confuse users.
Which app is better for a store that sells both retail and wholesale?
Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B is the more suitable option. It is built for B2B while Auction Plus is built for general customer engagement on a product-by-product basis.
Does either app offer a free trial?
The information provided doesn't specify if either app offers a free trial. Merchants should check the Shopify App Store listing for the most up-to-date pricing and trial information.
Which app is better for increasing average order value (AOV)?
Both apps have the potential to increase AOV, but in different ways. Treo · Auction Plus can drive up the price of individual items through competitive bidding. Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B encourages larger purchases through tiered discounts, directly increasing AOV if customers buy more to reach the next discount level.
