VideoPoint Shoppable AI Videos vs Vimeo Create ‑ Video Makerfor Shopify (2026)
VideoPoint Shoppable AI Videos and Vimeo Create target the same core problem: helping Shopify merchants create engaging video content. However, they approach it with different strategies. VideoPoint emphasizes AI-powered automation and scalability for creating videos for entire product catalogs, leveraging product data, templates, and AI avatars. It positions itself as a solution for merchants needing to produce a large volume of on-brand, shoppable videos quickly and efficiently. Vimeo Create, on the other hand, seems to offer a broader video creation toolset, likely with more manual control, catering to a wider audience with varying video creation needs, from promotional videos to tutorials and beyond. The key distinction lies in VideoPoint's focus on automating video creation specifically for product listings and shoppable experiences, while Vimeo Create is a more general-purpose video maker.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants needing to rapidly generate shoppable videos for a large number of SKUs, especially those with limited video production resources, VideoPoint Shoppable AI Videos appears to be the stronger choice. Its AI-driven automation and focus on product-specific videos offer significant advantages in scalability and efficiency. However, for merchants requiring a more versatile video creation tool for diverse marketing and communication needs, and who have video editing expertise in-house, Vimeo Create may be a better fit, despite its lower rating and more general approach. Ultimately, VideoPoint prioritizes automation for product videos, while Vimeo Create prioritizes a broader feature set.
