Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story vs VidyBack ‑ Auto Social Postfor Shopify (2026)
Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story and VidyBack ‑ Auto Social Post are both Shopify apps in the Video and livestream category, but they serve distinct purposes. Vidjet focuses on enhancing the on-site shopping experience by embedding videos directly into product pages, carousels, and even floating bubbles, boasting negligible impact on site speed. It emphasizes scalability, allowing merchants to bulk-embed videos without coding, and offers features like product tagging, coupon codes, and real-time analytics to measure video performance and ROI. Its target audience appears to be larger stores or those with a significant video library wanting to boost on-site conversions. VidyBack, on the other hand, targets social media marketing. It leverages AI and templates to automatically create engaging video ads, images, and carousel posts for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest. The core difference lies in their application: Vidjet is about improving the on-site customer experience with video, whereas VidyBack is about creating external social media content to drive traffic to your store. VidyBack offers features such as social media integration, scheduling tools, and a Brand Kit to maintain brand consistency across social channels. While both apps have perfect ratings, Vidjet's 102 reviews indicate greater user adoption and established credibility compared to VidyBack's single review. This suggests Vidjet has a more proven track record, although VidyBack could be a newer app with potential. Both apps emphasize ease of use.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to enrich their product pages and improve on-site engagement with video content, particularly if they already have a library of videos, Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story is the clear winner. Its emphasis on speed, bulk embedding, and detailed analytics makes it a robust solution for scaling video marketing efforts. However, a merchant with limited resources to create social media content should choose VidyBack ‑ Auto Social Post. If the merchant wants to spend little time creating compelling social media content, this app can streamline that process.
Common Questions
Which app is better for improving conversion rates on product pages?
Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story is specifically designed to improve on-site conversion rates by embedding videos and allowing merchants to add elements like product tags and CTAs directly within the video. VidyBack focuses on driving traffic *to* the product pages via social media.
Which app is easier to use if I have no coding experience?
Both apps claim to be user-friendly, but Vidjet explicitly mentions that it allows bulk-embedding of videos 'without using code,' suggesting a simplified implementation process. VidyBack focuses on the ease of creating and scheduling posts, indicating it is also user-friendly.
