Our Verdict
Based on the data available, WAX: marketing on WhatsApp appears to be a more mature and well-received app based on significantly more user reviews and a higher rating. It is suitable for merchants looking to engage directly with customers, improve customer service, and recover lost sales through WhatsApp marketing. Viral Loops, while promising organic growth through referrals, suffers from very low ratings and few reviews, making it a riskier choice. It might be suitable for merchants on a very tight budget, willing to experiment and potentially deal with usability issues or limited support, but only if their primary goal is referral-based acquisition.
Common Questions
Which app is better for acquiring new customers?
WAX focuses on converting existing website visitors through channels like abandoned cart recovery. Viral Loops focuses exclusively on driving new customers via referrals from existing customers.
Which app is better for customer retention?
WAX excels at customer retention by enabling personalized communication, post-purchase flows, and timely updates via WhatsApp. Viral Loops is less directly focused on retention.
Which app is easier to use?
Both apps claim ease of use, but WAX's higher rating and greater number of reviews suggest a smoother user experience. Viral Loops' low rating potentially suggests usability issues.
Which app is more suitable for GDPR compliance?
WAX explicitly mentions GDPR compliance, making it the safer choice for merchants operating in regions with strict data privacy regulations. Viral Loops does not specify GDPR compliance.
Which app is more budget-friendly?
Without pricing information, it is impossible to determine which app is more budget-friendly. A cost comparison should be done separately.
