WaveSoft Discount vs YouQuote: Request a Quote Formfor Shopify (2026)
WaveSoft Discount and YouQuote: Request a Quote Form are both Shopify apps related to pricing, but they serve fundamentally different purposes. WaveSoft Discount focuses on automating and improving the visibility of standard Shopify discounts, aiming to increase sales by showcasing savings directly on product pages. Its strength lies in simplifying discount management and ensuring that customers see the discounted price before reaching the checkout, potentially leading to higher conversion rates. It appears to target merchants already using Shopify's discount functionality who want to optimize its impact. In contrast, YouQuote: Request a Quote Form allows customers to request custom quotes for products or services, indicating it targets businesses that don't operate on fixed pricing or require complex pricing calculations. This app is suited for businesses selling customized products, large quantities, or services with variable costs. The greater number of reviews, all with a perfect 5/5 rating, suggests a strong user base and positive experience with its core functionality, despite the lower total review volume compared to established apps in other categories. Choosing between them depends entirely on whether a merchant needs to optimize fixed discounts or manage custom price requests.

Its automated features and ease of use make it a quick and efficient way to boost sales. However, if a merchant offers custom products, bulk discounts, or services with varying costs and requires a way for customers to request personalized quotes, then YouQuote: Request a Quote Form is the more suitable option.
