WBL ‑ Request a Quote vs Wholesale Discount Pro B2B Appfor Shopify (2026)
WBL ‑ Request a Quote and Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App both address pricing quotes within Shopify, but they target different aspects of B2B and custom sales. WBL ‑ Request a Quote focuses squarely on enabling and managing a 'request a quote' workflow, ideal for merchants selling highly customizable or bulk products where price negotiation is crucial. Its core features center around allowing customers to initiate quotes, managing these requests within the admin panel, applying quotes to specific products, and converting approved quotes into finalized orders. It explicitly targets B2B and specialized sales scenarios. In contrast, Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App, as its name suggests, likely provides a broader suite of B2B functionalities, with pricing quotes being just one part. While the feature list isn't provided, the name and category suggest tools beyond just quotes, potentially encompassing tiered pricing, wholesale customer management, and more general B2B sales support. A key difference lies in the social proof: Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App enjoys a perfect 5/5 rating based on 8 reviews, providing an initial level of confidence that WBL ‑ Request a Quote, with no reviews yet, cannot match. Ultimately, the 'best' app depends on the merchant's needs; a specific quote-based workflow versus a broader B2B solution.

Our Verdict
For merchants whose primary need is a dedicated 'Request a Quote' functionality to handle custom products, personalized pricing, and negotiation, WBL ‑ Request a Quote could be a good option – assuming the lack of reviews isn't a dealbreaker. It's designed to streamline that exact process.
However, the Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App, with its existing positive reviews, is a safer starting point for merchants seeking a broader range of B2B functionalities beyond just request-a-quote. If the merchant requires features such as tiered pricing, customer segmentation for B2B, and other wholesale discount management tools, then Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App appears to be the stronger and more reliable choice based on the provided data.
