Whatmore Shoppable Videos+Reel vs Zify Photo Gallery & Portfoliofor Shopify (2026)
Whatmore Shoppable Videos+Reel and Zify Photo Gallery & Portfolio are both Shopify apps designed to enhance the visual appeal of online stores using images and media. However, they cater to different needs. Whatmore focuses specifically on integrating shoppable videos, reels, and interactive video shopping experiences, particularly from platforms like Instagram and TikTok, with the goal of driving sales and engagement. It leverages AI for product tagging and aims to create a TikTok-like shopping experience. In contrast, Zify Photo Gallery & Portfolio is a more general photo gallery application designed to create visually appealing displays of images, likely with a portfolio focus rather than direct shoppability.

Our Verdict
Whatmore Shoppable Videos+Reel is the clear choice for merchants heavily invested in social media content, particularly Instagram and TikTok, who want to turn that content into direct sales opportunities. Its AI-powered product tagging and automated synchronization features provide a significant advantage in efficiency and revenue generation for stores wanting a dynamic, video-driven shopping experience. Zify Photo Gallery & Portfolio, on the other hand, seems more suitable for merchants who need a static photo gallery or portfolio-style presentation of their products or services, perhaps those in creative fields or offering services where visual demonstration is crucial but direct product tagging isn't necessary.
