Wishlist & B2B Project Planner vs Wishlist by Squarefor Shopify (2026)
Wishlist & B2B Project Planner and Wishlist by Square both aim to enhance the customer experience by enabling wishlist functionality on Shopify stores. However, they cater to significantly different segments and use cases. Our Verdict
For merchants running typical B2C stores seeking a quick and easy way to implement a basic wishlist feature, Wishlist by Square is the clear choice. Its simplicity, one-click saving, and automatic tracking provide immediate value without requiring significant configuration. The higher number of reviews also suggests greater adoption and user satisfaction within its target demographic.
However, for B2B businesses, wholesale suppliers, or stores dealing with project-based sales (e.g., furniture, home decor, construction), Wishlist & B2B Project Planner offers a more comprehensive solution. Its ability to create project-specific wishlists, manage quantities, generate quotes, and convert wishlists into draft orders streamlines complex purchasing processes. While it might require more setup and configuration, the advanced features cater specifically to the needs of larger or more complex transactions.
