Our Verdict
Wishlist by Square is the safer bet for merchants prioritizing ease of use, instant setup, and data-driven insights without the need for customer accounts. The app's existing positive reviews offer confidence in its functionality. It is especially suitable for merchants who want to quickly understand which products are most popular among their customers. Wishlist Genie, although promising, lacks the social proof of reviews and ratings. It is better suited for merchants willing to take a risk on a newer app, particularly if they value the flexibility of offering wishlist functionality to both guest and registered customers, and are highly focused on customer accounts.
