WTE ‑ Duplicate Finder vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
WTE ‑ Duplicate Finder and Zigpoll Customer Surveys are both Shopify apps categorized under 'Operations,' but address drastically different merchant needs. WTE ‑ Duplicate Finder focuses on internal data integrity by identifying and removing duplicate product listings, specifically targeting issues like duplicate titles, SKUs, and barcodes which are common problems for stores importing product data in bulk or managing large catalogs manually. Its key strength lies in its simplicity and direct approach to solving a specific data management problem. Zigpoll Customer Surveys, on the other hand, is geared towards understanding customer sentiment and improving the overall customer experience. It facilitates the creation and distribution of various surveys to gather feedback and insights, enabling merchants to optimize their business strategies, marketing efforts, and conversion rates. Zigpoll is a more comprehensive tool, offering features like post-purchase surveys, abandoned checkout campaigns, multilingual support, and integration with Shopify customer and order dashboards. Its emphasis is on data-driven decision-making by providing AI analytics on the collected zero-party data. The difference lies in their core functions: one is a data cleanup utility, while the other is a customer insight and feedback platform. Given that both tools provide benefits to a Shopify merchant, the decision to choose one or the other would depend on the stage of the business and the problems to be solved, duplicate content management or gathering customer feedback.

Our Verdict
If a merchant is struggling with duplicate product listings, inaccurate inventory data, or has recently migrated data and suspects errors, WTE ‑ Duplicate Finder is the clear choice. It directly addresses a specific pain point and provides a straightforward solution. However, for merchants prioritizing customer understanding, optimizing their sales funnel, and gathering feedback to improve their products and marketing, Zigpoll Customer Surveys offers a much more comprehensive and valuable solution. Its AI analytics and integration capabilities provide actionable insights that can impact the entire business.
Zigpoll is a generally more powerful tool for most merchants, particularly established ones, but may be overkill for smaller stores just starting out. WTE - Duplicate Finder solves a niche problem very efficiently, and while not an essential tool for all Shopify merchants, it would serve those facing data integrity issues well.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
WTE ‑ Duplicate Finder is likely easier to set up due to its singular focus and limited features. Zigpoll, while claiming no-code setup, offers a broader range of customization and integration options, which may require more configuration.
Which app is more suitable for a small business?
It depends on the business's needs. If duplicate product listings are a problem, WTE ‑ Duplicate Finder is beneficial. If the business is more focused on customer feedback and market research, Zigpoll is a better choice, but potentially less crucial than other investments at the start.
Which app is more scalable?
Zigpoll is more scalable due to its ability to handle a large volume of surveys and its integration with other marketing tools. WTE ‑ Duplicate Finder is useful once a problem presents itself but not a tool that scales with the business.
