Set Up Abandoned Browse Flow

What This Sidekick Query Does

Create an abandoned browse automation flow for my Shopify store:

Trigger:

  Visitor views a product page but doesn’t add to cart
  Must be an identified visitor (logged in or email known from previous visit)
  Wait at least 1 hour before triggering (they might still be browsing)
  Don’t trigger if they purchased within the session


Email Sequence:

Email 1 (1 hour after browse):
Subject: “Still thinking about [Product Name]?”

  Show the product they viewed with image and price
  “Here’s what other customers love about it” — include a review quote
  CTA: “Take Another Look”
  No discount yet


Email 2 (24 hours later, if no purchase):
Subject: “Don’t miss out on [Product Name]”

  Product image + “selling fast” messaging
  Show 2-3 similar/complementary products
  Social proof: “[X] customers bought this in the last week”
  CTA: “Shop Now”


Email 3 (48 hours later, if no purchase):
Subject: “Here’s 10% off [Product Name] 💝”

  Include discount code
  Product image + price with discount shown
  Urgency: “This offer expires in 48 hours”
  CTA: “Claim Your Discount”


Smart Conditions:

  Don’t send if customer already purchased ANY product
  Don’t send if customer has unsubscribed
  Maximum 1 browse abandonment flow per week per customer
  Exclude products under $20 (not worth the emails)
  If customer browsed multiple products, feature the most expensive one


Implementation:

  Recommend best approach (Shopify Flow + Shopify Email, or Klaviyo)
  Provide exact email templates
  Set up tracking to measure: open rate, click rate, conversion rate, revenue recovered
