Barcode and SKU Management System

Help me establish a comprehensive barcode and SKU management system for my Shopify store. I sell [PRODUCT_TYPE] with approximately [NUMBER_OF_SKUS] SKUs and [NUMBER_OF_VARIANTS] total variants.

Please help me with the following:


  Design a SKU naming convention:
    
      Format: [CATEGORY_CODE]-[SUBCATEGORY]-[ATTRIBUTE]-[SEQUENCE] (customize for my products).
      Category codes for my main product lines: [PRODUCT_LINES].

      Determine whether to use UPC, EAN, or Shopify-generated barcodes based on my sales channels.
      Identify products missing barcode assignments.
      Recommend a barcode printing solution compatible with [PRINTER_TYPE] printer.
    
  
  Configure barcode scanning workflow:
    
      Receiving inventory from suppliers using barcode scan.
      Picking and packing orders with scan verification.
      Cycle counting with scanner integration.
    
  
  Generate a complete product catalog export with SKU, barcode, product name, and variant info in CSV format.
  Recommend apps or hardware for barcode scanning that integrate with Shopify at [LOCATION_TYPE] (warehouse, retail, or both).
