Sidekick: Customize Payment Method Display

Help me optimize the payment method display on my Shopify checkout:

Optimize the payment method presentation:


  
    Method ordering - Arrange payment methods from most popular to least popular based on my customer data. Place credit/debit card entry first, followed by express wallets, then alternative methods like buy-now-pay-later.
  
  
    Card form design - Show a clean card entry form with separate fields for card number, expiration date, and CVV. Display recognized card brand icons (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) that highlight dynamically as the customer types their card number.
  
  
    Express payment prominence - Show Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay buttons at the top of the payment section with a divider labeled “Express checkout” to separate them from manual entry.
  
  
    Buy now pay later - Display installment options with a clear breakdown. For example: “4 interest-free payments of [AMOUNT] with Klarna.” Show this calculation dynamically based on the order total.
  
  
    Security indicators - Add a small lock icon and “Secure payment” text near the card form. Display “Your payment information is encrypted” below the card fields.
  
  
    Saved payment methods - For returning customers, show their saved payment methods at the top with the last four digits and card brand. Allow one-click selection of a saved method.
  
  
    Regional methods - Show payment methods relevant to the customer location. Display iDEAL for Netherlands customers, Bancontact for Belgium, and so on. Hide methods not available in the customer region.
  
  
    Error handling - Display clear, specific error messages for payment failures. Instead of “Payment failed,” show “Your card was declined. Please try another card or contact your bank.”
