Create Order Routing Automation

Create order routing automation for my Shopify store:

Routing Rules:


  By Fulfillment Location (if multiple warehouses):
    
      Route to nearest warehouse to shipping address
      If nearest location is out of stock → route to next closest
      Split orders if items are in different locations (configurable)
    
  
  By Order Type:
    
      Standard orders → regular fulfillment queue
      Express/priority shipping → priority fulfillment queue
      Pre-orders → hold queue (fulfill on release date)
      Digital products → auto-fulfill immediately
      Subscription orders → subscription fulfillment queue
    
  
  By Product Type:
    
      Personalized/custom items → custom fulfillment queue with production notes
      Fragile items → special handling queue
      Oversized items → freight shipping queue
      Hazmat items → compliance review queue
    
  
  By Destination:
    
      Domestic orders → standard carrier
      International orders → international carrier + customs docs
      Local orders → same-day delivery option
    
  


Automation Actions:

  Assign to correct fulfillment location
  Add relevant order tags
  Set fulfillment priority
  Add internal notes with special instructions
  Notify fulfillment team via email/Slack


Shopify Flow Workflows:
Create separate flows for:

  Location-based routing
  Priority routing
  Special handling routing
  Auto-fulfillment for digital products


Provide exact Flow configurations.
