I want to set up automated order tagging rules in my Shopify store to organize orders efficiently. Here are the details:

Store name: [YOUR STORE NAME]
High-value order threshold: [DOLLAR AMOUNT, e.g., $150]
Product categories: [LIST YOUR MAIN CATEGORIES, e.g., Clothing, Accessories, Gift Cards]
Shipping zones: [LIST KEY ZONES, e.g., Domestic, International, Local Pickup]
VIP customer criteria: [e.g., more than 5 orders, or lifetime spend over $500]

Please create automation rules for the following tagging scenarios:


  Tag orders over [DOLLAR AMOUNT] as “High-Value” automatically when placed.
  Tag orders containing products from specific collections, for example “Contains-Gift-Card” or “Contains-Fragile.”
  Tag international orders as “International-Shipping” and domestic orders as “Domestic-Shipping.”
  Tag orders from repeat customers (3 or more previous orders) as “Returning-Customer.”
  Tag orders that include a discount code as “Discount-Used” and include the code name.
  Tag orders placed during specific promotional periods as “Holiday-Sale” or “[CAMPAIGN NAME].”
  Tag orders with expedited shipping as “Rush-Order.”
  Tag orders from VIP customers based on my criteria above.
  Tag orders that contain only digital products as “Digital-Only” for different fulfillment handling.
  Tag first-time customer orders as “New-Customer” for follow-up marketing.
  Set up these automations using Shopify Flow with clear trigger, condition, and action steps.
