17TRACK Order Tracking vs Loop Returns & Exchangesfor Shopify (2026)
17TRACK Order Tracking and Loop Returns & Exchanges both aim to enhance the post-purchase experience for Shopify merchants, but they approach the challenge from different angles and cater to slightly different needs. 17TRACK positions itself as an all-in-one solution for order tracking, returns management, and even dropshipping support, focusing on reducing 'Where Is My Order' (WISMO) inquiries and optimizing logistics. Its strength lies in its comprehensive feature set, encompassing branded tracking, automated notifications, dropshipping protection, and shipping analytics. 17TRACK's description indicates it's potentially suited to beginners and those who seek a holistic solution. It also places significant emphasis on dropshipping features that Loop Returns doesn't directly address. Loop Returns, on the other hand, zeroes in on returns and exchanges as a revenue-generating opportunity. Loop focuses intensely on automating and optimizing the returns process to build customer loyalty and increase lifetime value. It offers advanced features such as incentivized exchanges, fraud prevention, and premium return options like at-home pickup. While it includes order tracking, its primary focus is on the post-return-initiation experience. Loop seems geared towards established DTC brands seeking to turn returns into a competitive advantage by offering seamless and flexible return options. Loop appears better suited to more advanced Shopify users that desire greater control and a tighter focus on post-return processes.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on reducing WISMO inquiries and streamlining basic return processes, especially those involved in dropshipping, 17TRACK Order Tracking is likely the better choice. Its broader feature set provides a solid foundation for managing order fulfillment and basic returns. Its high rating combined with the vast number of reviews offers social proof. Conversely, for established DTC brands that view returns as a strategic opportunity to build loyalty and increase revenue, Loop Returns & Exchanges is the stronger option. Its advanced features, like incentivized exchanges and fraud prevention, offer greater control and optimization capabilities, albeit with a higher learning curve and a potentially more complex setup.
