360 product search and filters vs KOBU ‑ Menu Highlightfor Shopify (2026)
360 product search and filters and KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight both fall under the 'Search and navigation' and 'Navigation and menus' Shopify categories, but cater to distinct merchant needs. 360 product search and filters focuses on improving the search experience within the store by employing a semantic search engine, customizable filters, and robust analytics. It aims to solve the problem of irrelevant search results and enhance product discovery through optimized listings and boosted products. Its strength lies in improving the overall search experience and potentially conversion rates. In contrast, KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight centers on visual menu navigation, offering eye-catching circle or square menus to showcase products, collections, or links. It emulates social media-familiar navigation, aiming to reduce bounce rates and improve conversion by enhancing visibility and accessibility of key product areas. While 360 product search and filters targets merchants struggling with internal search functionality and product findability, KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight appeals to those seeking to create a visually engaging and easily navigable menu system, especially those inspired by social media interfaces. The former addresses the functionality of the store's internal search engine, while the latter focuses on the external presentation of collections and product categories within the store's theme. The small number of reviews for 360 product search and filters, combined with a lower rating, suggests a potentially higher risk and may require further investigation.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing an improved internal search experience with enhanced filters and data-driven optimization, 360 product search and filters is the choice. Conversely, for merchants seeking a simple and visually appealing way to highlight key product collections or pages, particularly those looking to emulate the navigation style of social media platforms, KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight is the stronger option. Its higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest a more established and reliable solution. Ultimately, the selection depends on whether the primary focus is on enhancing internal search functionality or external visual navigation.
