AbProfit ‑ A/B Price Testing vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, merchants deciding between AbProfit ‑ A/B Price Testing and Quick Quote face a stark contrast. AbProfit aims to optimize pricing through A/B testing, targeting merchants seeking data-driven insights to maximize revenue. Its core focus is on experimentation with product prices, catering to businesses with established traffic looking to fine-tune their pricing strategy. Quick Quote, on the other hand, facilitates custom quote submissions directly from the shopping cart. It's geared toward merchants offering products or services where negotiated pricing is common, providing a streamlined communication channel for customers to request tailored quotes. The significant difference lies in their approach to pricing. AbProfit uses automated testing to discover optimal prices, while Quick Quote enables direct negotiation between the merchant and customer. AbProfit's value proposition centers on increased conversions and revenue through data-backed pricing adjustments, and Quick Quote promises improved customer service and potentially larger sales by accommodating individualized pricing needs. A key differentiator is the social proof, with Quick Quote boasting a perfect rating and substantial reviews, while AbProfit is entirely unrated at the time of analysis.

Our Verdict
Quick Quote is the safer choice for most merchants in 2026, given its strong rating and established user base. It's particularly well-suited for businesses selling customizable products or services, or those in industries where pricing negotiation is standard. The app’s focus on customer interaction and personalized quotes makes it a valuable asset for fostering stronger customer relationships and potentially securing larger deals.
AbProfit ‑ A/B Price Testing, despite its intriguing concept, is a much riskier proposition due to the absence of reviews. It's only recommended for tech-savvy merchants comfortable being early adopters and willing to invest time in setting up and monitoring A/B tests. If the merchant values data-driven pricing optimization and is not risk-averse, AbProfit might be worth considering once it gains some user feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, Quick Quote appears to have a simpler setup process as it primarily involves enabling quote requests and managing communication. AbProfit, requiring A/B test configuration, could be more complex for less technically inclined users.
Which app is more likely to increase revenue?
Both apps *aim* to increase revenue, but through different mechanisms. AbProfit attempts to find optimal pricing through experimentation, while Quick Quote aims to close larger deals by facilitating custom quotes and negotiation. Which approach is more effective depends heavily on the specific business and its products.
Which app is better for a merchant with a large catalog of products?
AbProfit, with its bulk product testing feature, is likely better suited for merchants with large catalogs, as it allows for efficient A/B testing across multiple products. Quick Quote may become difficult to manage with a vast catalog, as it relies on individual quote requests.
Does AbProfit handle discounting and promotions?
The description suggests that AbProfit focuses on *pricing* A/B testing, which might not directly translate to handling complex discounts or promotions. It's primarily about finding the optimal static price. Quick Quote facilitates including discounts when creating the custom quote.
What if I want to target different prices to customers in different countries?
AbProfit has a dedicated feature for running tests by country. The description of Quick Quote does not suggest that it is capable of segmenting its offering based on country.
