ABsolutely: A/B Test Prices vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
ABsolutely: A/B Test Prices and Quick Quote are both Shopify apps focused on pricing, but cater to fundamentally different merchant needs. ABsolutely is geared towards optimizing existing sales funnels through data-driven A/B testing of pricing, shipping, and other variables. It helps merchants maximize profit from existing traffic by identifying optimal pricing strategies. Quick Quote, on the other hand, focuses on providing a custom quoting process for customers, allowing for personalized pricing and negotiation, particularly useful for complex or high-value sales. It adds a layer of direct interaction and price flexibility. ABsolutely aims for efficiency and automation in price optimization, appealing to merchants focused on data-driven growth. Quick Quote prioritizes customer interaction and flexibility in pricing, suitable for merchants who sell specialized products or services where negotiation and customization are key. The ratings and review counts suggest that both apps have been successful, but the higher number of reviews for Quick Quote indicates a potentially larger or more engaged user base.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling standardized products at scale, ABsolutely: A/B Test Prices is the clear winner. It allows for data-driven optimization of pricing and shipping, maximizing profit margins without requiring significant manual intervention. This is ideal for businesses looking to scale quickly and efficiently. However, if a business sells complex, customizable, or high-value items where customer negotiation is common, Quick Quote is the better choice. It provides the necessary tools for creating personalized quotes, managing customer interactions, and ultimately closing deals that might otherwise be lost. While ABsolutely aims to optimize existing sales, Quick Quote aims to create new sales opportunities through personalized service.
